At Digicampus we are convinced that together we are better able to translate the needs of society into the innovative services of the future. We work on issues that go beyond organizational, domain and national boundaries and we remove barriers to innovation. We believe that only by working together and sharing our knowledge and insights we can accelerate innovations. Therefore, we provide a place where we can learn together what helps and hinders us. In this way, we can create valuable services for the future.
Digicampus is the place where we design the public services of the future together. We do this by bringing government, market, science and society together around three social missions. We support the resulting coalitions with innovation methods and (scientific) research.
Our three missions
Our work revolves around the following societal missions: Giving more control to citizens, Making interaction with the government easier, Making the government a strong data partner.
At Digicampus we work according to the principles of open source. We give back to society all knowledge, products and experiences through for example publications and blogs. The publication ‘Innovation across borders: 12 inspiring stories on innovating across borders’ has been translated into English.
Knowledge development is a precondition for innovation. That is why Digicampus stimulates and facilitates knowledge development on the three missions. We do this from the university chair: GovTech and Innovation in Digital Ecosystems. We focus on: knowledge development through scientific research, knowledge sharing through education and valorization.
Which methods will help bringing people, government, business and science together on the topic of innovation? Digicampus investigates which kind of collaboration and methods are suitable for this purpose. We are learning by doing and sharing our lessons and inspiration.
